Donate Wedding Flowers
Charleston, SC hosts around 4,000 weddings per year and sadly about 90% of the flowers go straight into the trash after the reception, even though they usually have several days of life left.
Bloomhaven is changing those stats by using donated wedding flowers for classes every week! It’s always a fun surprise to see how the kids interact with different color palettes and stems when they refashion blooms into their own bouquets and arrangements.
Plus all floral donations are tax deductible!
The details:
Weddings must be within 10 miles of downtown Charleston
Flowers must be removed from vases, containers, etc. prior to our arrival
Floral arrangements cannot include phlox - Sara is extremely allergic to phlox and it will send her to the emergency room. Again.
A minimum donation of $50 is required to help cover the gas, time, and labor involved in collecting, processing, and redistributing donated flowers
